The magazine organises free workshops with professional photographers. I spent a day with Cliver Minnit and Phil Malpas, and a couple of other readers, at Lyvden New Bield, a National Trust property in Northamptonshire.

This image is of the unfinished summer house viewed from across the man-made lake. The building was never completed - Sir Thomas Tresham died shortly before it was completed, and it has stood like this for over 400 years. The exterior walls are carved and finished and the interior wooden floors had been put in position (now removed). The roof was never finished. The estate's debts prevented future generations from continuing the work.

Our visit will appear as an article in "Outdoor Photography" in the August edition, which hits the newsstands on July 12th.
